Where Should My Home Search Begin?

 

 

BUYING A HOME

Wether you are a first time home buyer or a seasoned expert, purchasing a home can be a complex process. The more informed you are, the better your experience will be. I have included a general step-by-step list to help explain the home buying process. Some of these stages may seem confusing, but, remember, I am here to answer any questions.

THE BUYING PROCESS

1. Get Pre-Approved For a Loan 

- First, meet with a loan officer and obtain a pre-approval letter​​​

2. Determine Your Needs and Budget Range       

                   

                                 

3. Home Search

- With your specifications we will find homes  that meet your criteria, we can review them and your convenience

4.  Prepare the Offer

- Negotiate and complete your offer

5. Complete Your Loan Application

- Give your loan officer a copy of the contract and apply for the loan

6. Inspect the Property

- Select inspectors and arrange for both a general inspection and comprehensive pest inspection

- I will negotiate repairs on your behalf

7. Title, Appraisal. and Survey of Property

-Appraisal and Survey  ordered/accepted by lender

-Title Insurance and Commitment & Homeowner's Insurance ordered

 

8. Prior to Closing

-Review closing statement

-Final walk-through of property

-Wire funds for all closing costs/downpayment

 

9. Closing / Signing

-On the closing day you will sign all documents, bank funds the loan

-You receive the keys...Congratulations, you just bought a new home!
